1. Programme

Q1) Will the online MBA be recognized while applying for jobs?

Yes, VIT's online MBA degree is UGC-entitled and AICTE-approved and accepted by governments, corporate organizations, and higher education institutions.

Q2) I am a fresher. Am I eligible to apply?

There is no minimum work-experience criteria. If you qualify the eligibility criteria (Graduate with min 50%), you are eligible.

2. Academics

Q1) How will the participants be evaluated?

Participants will be evaluated through a combination of internal assessment (30%) and an end-term examination (70%).

Q2) What are the components of Internal Assessment?

Weekly Quiz, Continuous Assessment Test, and Digital Assignment.

Q3) What is a proctored examination?

Final Assessment Test will be conducted in centres in offline mode. Currently, VIT has 20 centres across India.

Q4) Are assignments mandatory?

Yes, they are part of continuous assessment.

Q5) What is the passing criteria?

Students have to score a minimum of 40% in FAT. Overall they need to secure a minimum of 50% marks in each course.

Q7) Is it required to attend live online sessions?

Yes, a minimum participation of 75% in all activities is necessary.

Q1) What is the application process?

Check Eligibility -> Submit Application & Pay Fee -> Compile Documents -> Application Review -> Pay Booking Amount Post-Selection.

Q2) What are the documents required?

Indian Regular: Passport photo, Digital signature, Proof of age (10th), 12th Marksheet, ID Card (Aadhar), UG mark statements, UG degree, Experience certificate.

NRI/Foreign: Passport photo, Digital signature, 12th Marksheet, Proof of age, Visa/NRI status, Proof of nationality, UG mark statements, UG degree.

Q5) Do you retain original certificates?

No, we do not keep original certificates.

Q6) Is there an entrance examination?

No, there is no entrance exam for joining the VIT Online Degree programmes.

Q7) Can a student simultaneously pursue two degree programmes?

According to UGC, you can pursue both an on-campus degree and an online degree at the same time.
